Michael Enderle

During his first seven (of twelve) years on the ground in India, Michael Enderle was responsible for an investment project worth CHF 80 million in Pune. As Managing Director of the Indian branch of a mechanical engineering company, he substantially increased sales and increased the local market share.

During his time in India, Mr. Enderle has established and expanded various companies with production facilities in the country – while overcoming many obstacles at the same time. For example, he has experience in dealing with trade unions (during strikes and unrest) and can also point to successful negotiations with local and supra-regional authorities.

As head of the Swiss Business Hub India, Switzerland’s export and investment promotion organization, he and his team then supported around one hundred Swiss entrepreneurs every year with their challenges in the Indian growth market.

Through his profound experience in the areas of change and process management, including almost a decade at management level, Mr. Enderle has enabled various organizations of our customers to sustainably optimize their cost structures in India – in sales as well as in production – as part of his work at WB.

As a long-standing manager in Delhi, Mumbai and Pune and former President and Board Member of the Swiss Indian Chamber of Commerce India, Mr. Enderle has top-class networks in India – in industry, diplomacy and business associations.
